Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-17 · Contact: contacto@iatechx.com

This policy explains what Fit collects, why, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. It describes what the app actually does today.

Who we are

Fit is a fitness and nutrition app. For any question about this policy or your data, write to contacto@iatechx.com.

What we collect

Account: your email address, a password (stored only as a hash, never in readable form), and your name. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your email address and name from them, and nothing else.

Profile: date of birth, gender, height, weight, fitness level, your goals, and your preferred language.

Health-related details you choose to enter: dietary restrictions, food allergies, and any physical problems or injuries you record. These matter because the meal planner and the coach read them, and you can leave them blank.

Training: the plans generated for you, the sessions you complete, the exercises, sets and weights, and the duration.

Nutrition: the foods you log with their calories and macronutrients, the barcodes you scan, your meal plans, and your shopping lists.

Progress: your weight and body fat readings over time, and any notes you add.

Photos: meal photos, exercise form photos, and body composition photos, but only when you choose to take or upload one.

Chat: the messages you exchange with the AI coach.

Preferences: language, and the accessibility settings you turn on.

What we do not collect

We do not read data from Apple Health or Health Connect. The app has a health sync setting, but the integration behind it is not implemented and no step, sleep, or heart rate data leaves your device or your health platform. If that changes, this policy will say so before it does.

We do not collect your location, your contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not use your data to train AI models.

Photos are sent for analysis

This is the part worth reading carefully. When you use Meal Photo, Form Check, or Body Composition, the image you provide is encoded and sent to Groq, our AI provider, to be analysed. The result comes back to us and is shown to you.

That means photographs of your body and of your training leave your device and are processed by a third party. We do not send them anywhere else, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not use them to train models. If you would rather not, simply do not use those three features; every other part of the app works without them.

Who else processes your data

Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your data is stored on their managed infrastructure, in the European Union.

Groq generates the coach replies, meal plans and shopping lists, and analyses the photos described above. Text you send to the coach, together with the profile details it needs to answer usefully, is included in those requests.

Open Food Facts receives the barcodes you scan and the food names you search for, so it can return nutrition information. It is a public, open database and receives no information about who you are.

Google and Apple handle sign-in only, and only if you choose those buttons. What they receive is described in their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your account, profile and training data to perform the service you asked for.

We process allergies, injuries and body photos only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by entering that information or by using those features. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting the information or by deleting your account.

We keep a minimal record of account activity for security, on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

How long we keep it

Your data stays for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, it is removed.

Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your account from inside the app: open your profile and choose Delete Account. This removes your profile, your training history, your food logs, your photos records, your chat history, your plans and your progress, along with the account itself and every session signed in to it. Deletion is immediate and there is no waiting period.

If you would rather we did it for you, or if you want a copy of your data first, write to contacto@iatechx.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive it in a portable format, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave.

The app already lets you do most of this directly. For anything else, write to contacto@iatechx.com and we will respond within the period the law allows, normally thirty days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is restricted at the database level, so one account cannot read another account’s rows even if a request is tampered with.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Children

Fit is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, write to contacto@iatechx.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the app will tell you before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version.
